Our Story
It started with a Cajon box and a challenge from Guruji Ninad Mulaokar Sir: can you build a tanpura in a box?
We said yes. After days of crafting and testing, Guruji himself approved the sound. Guided by him on tuning, our founder Aditya perfected the technique, and Selcouth Percussion was born on 25th August 2018.
Today, every box tanpura we make carries that same spirit: handcrafted, precisely tuned, and built for the modern musician.
