Selcouth Percussions instruments are individually handcrafted, tuned, and quality-checked before dispatch. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we maintain a strict no-return policy on all completed sales.
2. No Returns for Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for reasons including but not limited to:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Personal preference regarding sound, tone, or aesthetics
- Minor natural variations in wood grain, finish, or tonal character inherent to handcrafted instruments
- Buyer’s remorse or incorrect product selection
3. Pre-Purchase Responsibility
We strongly encourage customers to:
- Carefully review product specifications, dimensions, tuning range, and images before purchasing
- Reach out to us with any questions prior to placing an order
- Listen to available sound samples/demos on our website

4. Exceptions — Manufacturing Defects
Returns may be considered only in cases of verified manufacturing defects (e.g., structural faults not related to transit damage), evaluated strictly on a case-by-case basis. Customers must report such defects within 2 days of delivery, accompanied by:
- Clear photographic/video evidence of the defect
- Order ID and proof of purchase
5. Non-Returnable Situations
The following are explicitly not covered under any return claim:
- Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper storage after delivery
- Products where the unboxing video is missing, edited, or discontinuous (see Replacement Policy)
- Requests made after the applicable claim window has passed
6. Final Decision
All return requests are subject to internal review, and Selcouth Percussion holds the right to accept or reject a claim based on the evidence provided.
